Before anyone can earn the right to wear the full membership brevet that denotes a full 'COD' member (=UKLF=) they first have to prove themselves worthy. Until that time, those who have been invited on to our COD selection roster wear the 'probationer' tag of -UKLF-.

PLEASE NOTE WELL

Only people who have either been officially invited onto our selection roster or someone who has successfully passed the selection process has the right to wear either tag.

Additionally, in =UKLF= we have always taken the view that at the end of the day the responsibility for your training is yours. We can provide you with support during that period, but only if you are prepared to do actively participate and accept it.

As a probationer your assessment is based upon your progress and integration into the team. The only way to achieve this is by training with your troop commander and fellow troop members.

Training with us is a simple process. It's all down to you. It is however a fundemental part of your 'commitment' to us as explained in greater detail on our COMMITMENT page.
