Welcome to the Call of Duty division of the United Kingdom Land Forces, a long time team of players of the Novalogic Delta Force series. Our ethos in Call of Duty is precisely the same as the one we adopt in Delta Force, and that is to play the game to the best of our individual and collective team abilities, to do so with good friends and against people and teams we like and admire, while deriving the maximum amount of pleasure we can whilst doing so.
Also as in Delta Force, our Call of Duty recruitment policy is to recruit almost exclusively from UK players. We are after all a UK team, based in the UK and playing from the UK.
Rather than just accept applications from highly skilled players from abroad to strengthen our ranks (and we get lot's of those) we prefer to bide our time and cultivate players from the UK, although we fully acknowledge that to do so would make our recruitment process far easier..... but 'easy' is not our way, because we prefer what is 'best'.
We recognise this as a more difficult recruitment process than those of teams who will readily accept players from anywhere within this gaming community of ours, and we do not mean to infer any disrespect to them or anyone playing from outside the UK.
It is more about the very reason our team was originally formed, and that was to enable British or UK based players to work together in a team, meet and train on the same time zones, and play on servers connected via the same (sadly) telecomms infrastructure. However, apart from that, we also happen to believe there are enough talented British players out there for us not to normally need to call upon players who reside and play from elsewhere.
As in Delta Force, in Call of Duty we also strongly opposes any and all cheats or cheaters and if any member of the unit is found guilty of such, they will automatically be expelled from the unit without exception.
